SUSAN JOY
Stylist, Consultant & Creative Director 

New York City based stylist and creative director Susan Joy brings a love of fine art, fashion history and pop culture to her work.

Susan has collaborated with artists, editors, designers and photographers, and is a regular contributor to the NY Times Style section. Amongst commercial and advertising clients Susan is known as a fashion alchemist, bringing a fresh editorial sensibility to commercial products.

As a creative consultant, Susan provides support to designers and their teams, whether by fine tuning products, developing branding strategies or creating effective presentations for industry or consumers.

Susan is a mentor to young designers in the CFDA Fashion Incubator program and also works with the International Woolmark Prize supporting the USA regional finalists.

Born in Australia, Susan has a degree in Fashion Design and Marketing from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology. She lives in a plant filled penthouse on the Lower East Side with her daughter Izzy and a grumpy old lady cat named Abby who came as a house guest but never left.
